Solution II: Water Analysis Advanced

At the heart of this state-of-the-art system is the 881 Compact IC pro – Anion – MCS. While this system allows the determination of standard anions in water, it is also geared to determine oxyhalides as stipulated by EPA method 300.1. Oxyhalides (chlorate, chlorite and bromate) are disinfection-by-products. Bromate is suspected to be a potential carcinogen.

High sample throughput on this system is provided by an 858 Professional Sample Processor that comes with a rack accommodating 54 11-mL-vials. With the appropriate column, this system may also be used to determine cations.
